True/False March March Parade

I decided to experiment and photograph only with my Iphone this year’s March March Parade 2014. For more fun, I created these diptychs, trying to find similarities in colors and shapes.

First screening - Pelican Island

The surprise for this week came from Steve Schnarr & Missouri River Relief folks. Sunday, Feb 9, at The Blue Note the short film I made about the Pelican Island on the Missouri River was screened at the Wild & Scenic Film Festival.

I had the honor to be introduced by Janet Moreland,  the one who paddled all the Missouri river - 2600 miles in kayak.

You can read more about her experience here.

Also, provolone cheese, bison tooth, home baked cookies, and unbloomed tulips -were the best gifts for my first screening ever on such a big screen!

Thank you: Meredith, Varvara, Kholood, Diane, Viktorjia, David and John for being there.

My very good friend, Diane Oerly!

The festival ended with some good music.

Need to thank again to Steve Schnarr  and Melanie Cheney that let me join them on the Pelican Island adventure.

14 celsius

Feb. 26. Blue sky, sunny day, mild wind, 14 Celsius.

Today was actually nice to walk outside. After spending 24hs unpacking, cooking and sleeping, I finally decided to get out of the shelter and go explore.
